Travel Sickness

Does anyone have any suggestions in dealing with travel sickness in toddlers?
Noah has been really sick a few times that has clearly been just due to being in the car. Any over the counter medicines and the pressure point bands are all for 2+. We tried ginger biscuits before but he wasn't that keen and I don't really want to give him biscuits every time we go in the car!

  1. Peppermint is supposed to be anti-nausea...try cold peppermint tea? I have no experience of feeding it to toddlers, but it might work!

I used to get horribly car sick when I was little, and the wristbands worked wonders for me, so definitely try them if it's still a problem when he's older. Also I always used to feel better if I'd eaten before we left, as having an empty stomach made me feel worse.

    Good luck!

    1. I think the tea is a great idea and I don't know why I didn't think of it. I always use peppermint tea when i feel a bit poorly and I he will finish off the dregs in the cup if allowed!

With regards to hunger, we thought that might have been it the first time, but the other times it has been soon after food.

The problem is I get really sick and found sitting in the front cures it, but I still need to!
